its just that there's really nothing to blog about these days *hah!*

cant help but think about what im gonna end up like when im old,
i constantly make new friends, and as i do, i drift apart from the old ones,
same cycle, again and again.. damn it im such a lousy friend arent i?

the last assignment was pretty fun though,

cause i didnt involve any measuring or straight lines. HAHA

i could've done better on the potrait sketch task, but as it's my first i'll let myself go just this once.

ive never been good at them, but once i got through that it wasnt as bad as i thought it to be,

gonna need heaps of practice though, i mean,

since its been a while, gonna have a go anyway,
5 things that you dont know (and most probably wont bother to. HAHA) about lil' old me~

1. im a really light sleeper, the lightest squeak wakes me right up. which is hella annoying.
2. ive been in 1st grade 2 times, when i was 6 and 7yrs old.
3. i love browsing through recipes though i dont cook that much.
4. i dont really sleep on evenings cause then im gonna stay up for too long.
5. i <3 tempeh A LOT.

struggling so so bad.

today marks exactly one week since the new (and final) semester started,
and unfortunately classes havent been all that appealing nor fun.
but of course, i havent heard classes that are meant to be fun,
this time round i only have two subjects in total,
8hrs of Graphic Communication 2 and 6 of Enviromental Design.
and BOTH are seriously messing with my head. argh!


GC's first task seem simple enough, drafting lines using pen. which is exactly where the nightmare began. i've been messing up so much ; went slightly over the line here, stroked where it was meant to be spotless,etc etc
and re-doing them again and again. and now im too scared to ruin my precious drawing i've stopped altogether. but im still going to have to finish them as they're due soon.

and ED,well what can I say about this one, the first lessons are on the elements and principles of design, a veeeeeeery brief lecture and then we're left to explore the campus by ourselves and TRY to identify the elements present in the buildings and structures.
and right now, other than balance and symmetry, pretty much nothing else makes sense to me,
only now do i realise that i cant really survive without a book to stick by.
and in 2 weeks we are supposed to come up with a design on an A2 that practices all that we've been "taught" * pfft and explain it thoroughly to our studio master.

every line must have a reason _Std Master

and oh yeah, also included is a writing assignment, 300 words explaining our completed design. FUN. last time i wrote that long was for SPM.

im doomed fo' sho'.

i hope the silver lining to this makes its appearance soon or im gonna lose it..

tomorrow im gonna be having an eid open house, right here in sweet sweet penang,

its really beeen quite a while since i've celebrated eid at my own home,

usually im back in my hometown during the whole celebration,

now that i finally got a chance to host my own open house it feels pretty good,

uuuunfortunately, theres something thats standing in the way of my joy,

that is, uia and its weird set of holidays.

it almost aaaaalways clashes with the other universities,

so im left with less than a handful of friends that could make it tomorrow *tear* D:

and eventhough id love to invite my campus friends over, the fact that they're all over Malaysia pretty much renders the dream imposibble,

this eid.

havent been able to blog for a while during this raya. because i was away for a while aka baaaalik kampungg.

the first day of eid marks my 19th birthday,which i guess is pretty cool.
i still dont find anything particularly special about that,other then my FB beeing flooded with birthday-cum-raya wishes,which was a pleasant thing to get on such a jolly day.
but again, im just a lil bit bummed from the fact that the people who i wanted the wishes from the most just seems to forget,oh well,not everything goes our way huh~

now im spending all that remains of my holiday,and then back to the campus to *try* and study my butt off for the finals, and then more touching up for the coming portfolio day which i dread so much on the 27th~
i hope this semester had  good ending,aminn.

cant believe its already been more than a months since i updated this thing.
i blame this on, uhhh, kpop? HAHAH
no really, cant even recall what got me so preoccupied lately. is it those annoying gc projects? or..
anyway, had it not been the fact that my laptop is giving me so much crap today i think this entry wouldnt even came to be, damn is seriously need to get this thing formatted (blikla cpat Angah oi).
So now im pretty much cut out from my entertainment today, which mostly had to do with the fact that my hardisk is currently unaccesible, as i spent the last 3 hours googling for a solution and yet so far nothing has worked,
in fact, more problems keep popping up,now i cant even install any antivirus . how the heck am i supposed to be protected? D:
never felt this frustrated in a long long time.
at time like this the pain of being away from home really kicks you in the gut. oyy oyy.
i think i wont be back home until the Raya hols start. so am gonna be stuck fasting in PJ till then.
oh well, at least there are friends here, though it tends to be quite lonely near the weekends with everyone flocking back to their homes.

1^st ramble

Ive lost count of how many times I wished so hard that my life is a flawless movie.

And then I smacked my head knowing that im way over my head, and for not appreciating how beautiful my life already is.

But then people tend to drown themselves in silly rainbow bright fairytales, escaping to their little happy place, trying to run away from reality when it becomes too hard to digest.

2^nd ramble

People say, if you cant beat em, join em instead, sounds easy enough. But what if, you cant do that no matter how much you try. What happens then? In a situation where the only reason you want to join is because your heart is so lonely and cold. Desperately wishing the warmth of a good company. Almost to a point of choking because the hollow in your chest keeps growing, engulfing you in silent pain. What then??

3^rd ramble

Im in a terrible state, as you can probably already tell. I could feel the waterworks coming again. Which reminds me, how the hell does someone start weeping all of a sudden for no reason? Is there anyone else who has experienced this? Do tell, please. I cant even figure that out myself.

I need someone,anyone. I miss home so so bad.

I say this and yet I don't even call to ask "whats up lately?" its cause thatll last for a whole 10 seconds before it gets awkward and then after 5 mins I'll just hang up, that's my family for you. Cant help it, but when we're all together, its magic.

My friends are my family too. And Im doing such a lousy job as one. Barely contact any of them now, thank God for FB. Or else I'd be worse than I am now.

and while getting lost staring in space today.
it hit me;
ive been contemplating my unhealthy addiction the the particular nation's music scene.
and i know why!
the catchy beats, addictive choreography, the amazing stage presence, and of course lets not all forget,
the drama in the kpop scene is one of the biggest aspects that draws fans from all over the globe.
so basically,

• KPOP = addictive MUSICAL.

it fits dontcha think so? lol

this is just my own personal take on the topic,

only 2 weeks to go until the start of my new semester at iium.
where the heck that these 3 months went to?
time sure flies.
and now im torn,
im missing iium and its contents desperately so,
but im gonna miss the easy life back home, with ma familia~ ♥ ♥ ♥
ohwell.
heres to another 4 months of craaaaaaziness. :D

stuck in this rut.

imagination, an extremely important part of life, cant really imagine a world without it.
literally.

without it, there's no moving forward, bettering ourselves, improving creations, no evolution.
and i love it, for that, and many other reasons.
you see, drawing used to be my passion, eversince i was in primary,
truth be told i only started out because i wanted to draw my favourite hero(-in) at the time,
Sai-lor-mOOn~
and i never looked back since then, basically, anime became my main source of inspiration,
i based my character designs on the animes i loved, ( Gensomaden Saiyuki, Inuyasha, etc. )
and, i guess, as a child, i felt very proud of what i was able to do.
oh the simplicity of childhood :D ~
and i kept at it, growing up, constantly trying to improve, and i did.
but as the years passed, while my skill shown a slight improvement, i felt that i was lacking in so many places,
mainly i was feeling completely drained of any form of creativeness,
it remained for some time, the empty feel i get whenever i finished a piece, rather than the joy i had when drawing a simple sketch when i was 13yrs old.
and then it hit me,
heck,
i wasnt losing my creativeness,
far from it,
I JUST GREW UP.
and found more challenges along the way, my skills are tested,
the problem was not that creativity dissipated,
i just hit a plateau, skills wise i've become better, but my ideas havent adapted to my progress,
i grew up, my way of thinking should too,
and that's what i'll do,
i'll LEARN
i'll STUDY
and you betcha im gonna FLY~ :D
